This was my first illustrated book; the client was a man from England with a daughter who wrote a short story based on her dream; he wanted to get someone to illustrate the book to gift her the printed version on Christmas.

He let me be very creative with it because he already liked my style (kind of minimalistic but colorful, with watercolors). I asked him for photos (of her, and the cat and plush) and made different designs for him to choose.

I also made some designs for the trees, because the forest had to be full of rainbow eucalyptus.

I designed the illustrations to have an open space for the text. The color palette was full of lilac, violet, magenta, yellow, and cyan, who happened to be her favorite colors.They both were very happy with the end result.
